If underlying real estate or credit structures experience real-world valuation defaults or oracle updates face on-chain latency, the protocol's automated liquidation engine faces severe bad debt accumulation, turning the governance token into an unstable backstop. 

Hifi finance may be facing a challenge that many investors overlook, the market often treats liquidity and demand as if they are the same thing, but they are not a token can have active trading activity while still struggling to attract new capital, much of hifi's activity appears to come from traders rotating existing liquidity rather than a growing base of users entering the ecosystem.
Another detail worth watching is the nature of fixed-rate lending itself, fixed rates become valuable when borrowers want certainty about future costs, however, crypto markets are driven by flexibility many traders prefer the ability to move capital quickly rather than lock themselves into long term positions, this creates a situation where hifi's main advantage may appeal to a smaller audience than the market assumes,

It seems team doesn't care about project's roadmap the twitter is posting rarely and blue verification badge is gone, while website and platform working but there is no strong community is present to support itWeak liquidity and poor trading volume.
There is no strong utility to invest except lending and borrowing which also is almost dead as investors narrative shifted to other Defi projects.

Hifi Finance is now a "Stagnant Legacy Protocol." While it pioneered fixed rate lending, the lack of Github activity since dec 2025 is the final nail in the coffin. Combined with 99% price decay and a Binance exit, the project has lost its "Expertise" engine.
