Compound (COMP) Review: OG Score & Community Audit

COMP governance has turned into a complete mess. Whales can stack enough tokens to push proposals that benefit themselves, and the treasury ends up paying the price. Watching millions leave while the community is left acting like everything is fine says a lot about the current state of things. What makes it worse is that the token itself feels like it’s slowly fading out. Daily DEX volume sitting around $4.7k with roughly $140k liquidity is not the kind of activity that inspires confidence. The dominance is slowly moving to Aave Compared to eachother Compound has: lower TVL, slower innovation and reduced ecosystem integration https://defillama.com/protocol/compound COMP holders vote on proposals, influence protocol direction. But, they don’t receive strong direct economic benefits which is a project killer, those holders are dear investors to be drawn. A work on that, would make this better for a start.

this is a true blue-chip decentralized finance asset. You aren't buying into a flashy, untested narrative or a high-risk micro-cap; you are trading the foundational plumbing of the Ethereum ecosystem. While the price has bled out significantly from its legendary $854 all-time high down to $19, the tokenomics are practically flawless. Because nearly 100% of the supply is already circulating, you don't have to worry about sudden venture capitalist unlocks diluting your finite capital. It is a slow, steady, highly liquid asset that gives holders voting power over protocol upgrades. It likely won't give you a 100x overnight pump, but it is one of the safest, most structurally sound charts to trade in the DeFi sector.

Governance stays active, and it’s battle-tested after all these years, I feel Compound remains a cornerstone for anyone serious about lending/borrowing I’ve held some through cycles and plan to keep it for the long-term reliability. one of the true OGs of DeFi lending on Ethereum.

although now compound have more competition I still think that they can make a comeback, if not all the way to ath but $comp can make 5-10X from here. I'm interested in $comp for anything below $30 per $comp
