Coinbase is a US regulated, beginner-friendly exchange with strong fund security, making it one of the safest fiat gateways for the US people. Despite this, and being around for almost +13 years they still suck at: ugly charts and interface, trading experience, slow deposit withdrawal speeds, VERY HIGH retail trading fees, slow or automated customer support, and frequent account locks during verification. Coinbase Exchange and the Coinbase Web3 Wallet were some of the first platforms I used when I entered the crypto space. However, over the last two years they have had several security breaches. Attackers have stolen millions, if not billions, from Coinbase through methods such as social engineering, API vulnerabilities, and impersonating Coinbase customer support. They used to be great, but things have changed. Conversion fees are high, withdrawal fees are also high and support is only available in several regions.

Coinbase is a legit easy to use exchange that's great for beginners who want a simple way to buy and hold crypto with solid security, but it has high fees, slow support, and frequent account locks issues that frustrate many users

Coinbase is legit but only available to the US, It has a genuine opportunity if you're looking for a regulated US exchange with easy fiat access, staking rewards (decent APR on stables), and exposure to big caps like BTC/ETH its your go to.

From coinbase to other exchange it kind of slow & high fees is one thing here , But aside that it's a go to platform.

I feels like if I'm here US Owns me 😂. Just recently less usage by community and high complaints of customer support, but the liquidity here is wide.

Coinbase might not be the largest CEX out there, but it is one I would trust. Given they are the primary trusted partner of Spot ETF's, they would be following regulations fairly strictly and undergo regular audit and security practices. I have never had issues with Coinbase on-ramping, off-ramping or transferring funds to my own custody.

Naaa, this exchange I feel is mostly used by the US. Its global reach lost value by 45%. Still has good liquidity though. Security is perfect but mostly used ? Doesn’t stand a chance

high fees, average UX. the only good part is probably it's US based (comes with even more centralization perks :)
