Real tech, real dev history since 2018 but the same coin name got used to drain Indian investors through a pyramid scheme that rebranded 3 times to dodge cops. OHM deserves respect for surviving crashes that wiped out plenty of other projects. That resilience is real. But at the same time, the reality underneath isn’t as clean as the narrative suggests only about 2.7k holders, no real redemption mechanism, and a treasury that feels more like abstract numbers than something participants can actually access. On top of that, price behavior often feels tightly managed rather than naturally driven. At some point, it stops feeling like decentralised belief and starts feeling more like curated expectations. What I actually like about UNI lately is that the protocol’s cash flow is finally being tied to real token burns instead of just narratives and hype. It gives holding a bit more purpose and makes the whole setup feel more mature long term.

But the governance side still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Even the ECB pointed out how much influence a small circle especially a16z and other large holders has over decision-making. So while community-owned sounds good on paper, in practice it still feels heavily controlled from the top. More boardroom energy than true decentralization.

COMP governance has turned into a complete mess. Whales can stack enough tokens to push proposals that benefit themselves, and the treasury ends up paying the price. Watching millions leave while the community is left acting like everything is fine says a lot about the current state of things.

What makes it worse is that the token itself feels like it’s slowly fading out. Daily DEX volume sitting around $4.7k with roughly $140k liquidity is not the kind of activity that inspires confidence. At this point, it barely feels like serious traders are even paying attention anymore. 🐳📉

FITFI genuinely gives off that it’s over feeling now. Delistings always hurt, but they hit even harder when the project already feels lost with no real direction left. They still post once in a while like everything’s normal, but the energy behind it is gone you can tell the spark died a long time ago. SNX has been hitting different lately. The way revenue gets funneled straight back into strengthening the token and its pair instead of being wasted is the kind of design that builds confidence over time. You can actually feel the long-term thinking behind it.

Yeah, the stablecoin drifting off peg more than expected is still something I keep an eye on. But overall, the strengths are speaking louder than the flaws right now. The positives outweigh the negatives pretty comfortably, and the whole setup just gives solid long-term conviction vibes.
