Aptos (APT) Review: OG Score & Community Audit

Another Layer 1 proof of stake blockchain with solid tech but definitely VC friendly tokenomics. Even though 51% is meant for the community, only about 2% of the total supply was actually distributed at TGE to testnet participants, Aptos took a lot of heat for years. Low gas fees kept revenue down and high inflation made the tokenomics look shaky, even though the tech was solid. Then they flipped the script. They raised gas fees, capped the total supply at 2.1 billion, cut staking rewards in half, permanently locked 210 million foundation tokens and started burning tokens aggressively. Aptos’ tech is legit parallel execution works, Move improves security, and institutional interest is real. The problem is relentless token unlocks. Holding $APT is a bet that ecosystem growth can outpace constant dilution, and right now valuation still feels stretched. Strong tech, tough market dynamics.
