The blockchain is built by a company called Mysten Labs The team is made from former elite Facebook (Meta) engineers, giving the project technical trust and heavy professional credibility, Regular blockchains process trades one by one in a single line while Sui processes thousands of simple transactions completely at the same time, which made it extremely reliable block chain.

Sui is stuck fighting giant, established rivals, It directly has to face massive networks like Solana which has much stronger community and userbse and its twin network Aptos, which competes for the exact same niche for software developers.

Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain built using the Move programming language, launched in 2023. It is one of the few successful IEOs of this cycle. I have used their blockchain since the testnet phase, and it was very smooth even during testnet. The qualification criteria for their ICO was even more surprising. They selected only those who had joined their Discord before October 2022, if I remember correctly. That was a hell of a qualification requirement. However, several significant hacks have occurred on the Sui blockchain, which is not very encouraging. The Cetus Protocol hack was one of them. Validators managed to freeze more than half of the funds, which raised questions about decentralization of the network.

Sui built a Layer1 blockchain with network activity and advanced engineering built by Mysten Labs. Showing foundational potential with genuine innovation and institutional integrations. Let it be note that, it also carries unresolved network stability issues and price weakness, which represent risks for holders and builders alike.

Sui Network is fast and scalable with super low fees, great for gaming,payments, and DeFi. It has strong growth, big TVL, and cool tools for developers. People love tech and real adoption. But it has outages, some centralization worries, and token unlocks that hurt price. Solid project with risks, with good long term potential

SUI has strong tech and VC backing but a big risk many users ignore is token unlocks and supply control. A lot of SUI tokens are still locked and will be released over time, which can create heavy selling pressure and push the price down. So even if the Network grows , holders should be ready for volatility and not assume the price will only go up.

Remember the 2023 bear market? It was a time when everyone was quick to criticize it for being “just another VC L1 from ex-Facebook nerds” that no one really wanted. Sui's parallel execution looked like the scalability answer we needed, until Cetus lost $223M to a bug that survived multiple audits. Now the "Move is safer" pitch feels a lot less convincing tbh

tech and marketing efforts are there, they value community and organize many IRL events too in different parts of the world for both devs and users, but still It's overvalued, Layer 1 competition is rising, $SUI vestings are being unlocked and added to the circulating supply those are other risks added on top 🙄

it's not a bad design in both technical and user side. marketing is good, but it lacks useful applications and. I still believe it's overvalued. Should be careful with $SUI. In my opinion SUI whales (The team VCs are BADLY waiting for opportunities to unload their huge bags) For this they need huge amount of volume which is probably by the mid-end of the bull run 2026

Sui focuses on scalability and user-friendly dApp development. Its novel consensus mechanism and move to improve transaction speeds show promise, but its early-stage adoption and ecosystem size remain hurdles. Continued updates can solidify its positioning

SUI is a promising smart contract platform; however, it appears they haven't sufficiently heeded community feedback and have undervalued the contributions of their testnet participants. Since the anticipation of further airdrops has waned, there has been a significant drop in the number of active users on the network. As for the $SUI price, given that it's a new token with a substantial amount of tokens yet to be unlocked, a negative impact seems inevitable. It's important to note that the competition between Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions is much more intense than before.
