Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain built using the Move programming language, launched in 2023. It is one of the few successful IEOs of this cycle. I have used their blockchain since the testnet phase, and it was very smooth even during testnet. The qualification criteria for their ICO was even more surprising. They selected only those who had joined their Discord before October 2022, if I remember correctly. That was a hell of a qualification requirement. However, several significant hacks have occurred on the Sui blockchain, which is not very encouraging. The Cetus Protocol hack was one of them. Validators managed to freeze more than half of the funds, which raised questions about decentralization of the network.

A lot of SUI tokens are still locked and will be released over time, which can create heavy selling pressure and push the price down. So even if the Network grows , holders should be ready for volatility and not assume the price will only go up.

it's not a bad design in both technical and user side. marketing is good, but it lacks useful applications and. I still believe it's overvalued. Should be careful with $SUI. In my opinion SUI whales (The team VCs are BADLY waiting for opportunities to unload their huge bags) For this they need huge amount of volume which is probably by the mid-end of the bull run 2026
