Honey is core token of Berachain's trading ecosystem used for liquidity and primary trading, it's built to peg price equal to USD, it's deeply integrated into berachain Defi but the token is completely Centralized team has supply control.
Decentralized pools have millions of dollar worth in locked value in Honey sUSDe and Honey USDe pair, but the native block chain had community backlash for very poor airdrop influncer were top priority while community was disappointed, which pushed most of community away from the project.

The setup here is actually pretty solid from a DeFi perspective. It’s built to work closely with Berachain’s liquidity system and being backed by established stable assets makes it useful for things like farming, vault strategies, and moving capital around the ecosystem. But I still wouldn’t treat it like cash sitting in a bank account. There are a lot of moving parts behind it, multiple collateral layers, upgradeable contracts, and governance risk all matter. For me, this is the type of asset that makes sense as active DeFi capital, not something I’d park a huge amount in and forget about.
