Overtime (OVER) Review: OG Score & Community Audit

Overtime looks interesting on paper, but there are some pretty obvious weaknesses once you look past the sportsbook pitch. The biggest one is that the betting experience isn't fully decentralized in practice. Overtime still relies on outside sports data and odds providers such as Pinnacle to determine prices and settle outcomes. If those feeds go down, lag, or return bad information, the contracts are still dependent on that external source to know what actually happened.
The AMM model is another thing I'd be careful with. Liquidity providers are effectively taking the other side of bettors, so they can get hurt when betting becomes heavily one-sided. That becomes especially relevant during major tournaments when thousands of users are likely to pile onto the same teams or outcomes. You're essentially asking the liquidity pool to act as the bookmaker without having the same risk-management infrastructure as a traditional sportsbook.
 

First flaw i see is the severe lack of market depth and extreme whale concentration and merely 38 wallets control the total supply. So, combing it with the daily trading volume that frequently drops to near-zero levels, you are looking at an asset that is incredibly susceptible to price manipulation.
Furthermore, you have to look at the development activity. The GitHub has been dead for awhile now and promised updates, like an Aave integration, have been completely abandoned. If you want to use the platform to place a bet, it functions correctly. But holding this micro-cap token hoping for massive financial returns ain't realistic.

The token Over is part of overtime DAO it's main function is on chain decentralized sports betting and digital trading also it is not a fresh or new project it's actually a rebrand the older thales which token migrated 1 to 1 into OVER with the total supply burned from 100 million to about 69.42 million as part of that rebranding and coverting.
Eth scan shows there are only 38 wallet holding total supply while the trading volume is extremely low it still somehow has $9 million market cap, the few wallets holding count poses risk of price volatility because these wallets can manipulate price for their own profits.
Twitter and website both are functional but engagement is below average.

If you want to use the platform to place a bet, do it. It’s a decentralized tool and it works. But if you are holding $OVER because you think it’s going to moon or because you think you’ve found an undervalued asset, you are deluding yourself. There is no institutional interest, no high frequency trading volume, and no market depth. You are holding a micro cap asset in a market that has already moved on to more liquid sectors. Don't mistake functional tech for financial opportunity. This is a product you use to gamble, not an asset you hold to grow your net worth. Treat it as a casino chip that you can't easily cash out, and you’ll understand exactly why the volume is dead.

GitHub’s been dead silent for 7 months while the token nuked 76% in a single week. Daily trading volume? Just $1,089. That’s embarrassing even by failed NFT project standards. They promised Aave integration ages ago, yet can’t even push a single commit. The whole democratize blockchain narrative sounded exciting back in 2022, but in 2026 this is just another abandoned L1 with anonymous founders who’ve clearly checked out. If the devs don’t care enough to maintain their own codebase, why should anyone else? 💀

Overtime was previously known as Thales Protocol and rebranded last year. The team behind the project is still the same as the original Thales team. Development is still ongoing according to their GitHub activity. The OVER token currently has better on-chain liquidity compared to the previous THALES token, but most of that liquidity is heavily concentrated on decentralized exchanges, while holder concentration also remains high.

Overtime has successfully pulled off what most projects fail at: a clean rebrand. By migrating Thales to $OVER and burning 30M+ tokens to tighten the supply to roughly 61M, they have created a deflationary, focused asset. The account abstraction tech makes betting as smooth as a Web2 app But still we gotta know who are behind this, trust is key in this space. I cannot trust someone idk
