It has maintained a strong peg to $1 for years, offers very low transaction fees, and benefits from solid security with a long track record. The project itself is technically sound, with excellent tokenomics for a stablecoin and credible backing from the Gnosis team. It quietly serves its purpose powering fast and cheap transactions on the chain. However, from an investor’s perspective, xDAI is quite boring. There is almost no hype, very little community energy, and minimal upside potential. The market is currently rewarding narrative-driven and meme coins far more than quiet utility assets like xDAI. buttom line, If you just hold xDAI, you’re not earning anything extra, you’re just using it to move around cheaply on Gnosis Chain.
