Only about 20.5% of the 1B supply is circulating, with vesting extending to 2030 and 51 unlock events remaining. Even worse, the token does not currently represent an ownership claim on the protocol's revenue; GAIB's legal documentation explicitly denies holders rights to fees, dividends or profits.
The protocol therefore has to create enough governance, security, staking and future value capture demand to make the token economically important rather than merely useful. The other major issue is scale. A $2B financing pipeline sounds impressive, but only a fraction is deployed today. So yeah if I judge the MC then it's fair to also consider the part also important.
