VeChain (VET) Review: OG Score & Community Audit

The protocol uses a dual token system. Businesses buying gas to track their shipping containers are burning VTHO not VET. Their structural design shows massive enterprise adoption does not directly force buyers to purchase the VET token. And there are roughly 86 billion tokens currently flooding the market.
For Spot buyers you have to realize this is a slow moving utility asset heavily weighed down by its own massive supply so do not expect rapid speculative price. But they launched a native staking platform called StarGate where users can finally lock their tokens and earn yield directly from the network. so that should compensate your time.

This didn't stop there In January 2024 hackers hacked VeChain's official Twitter account, The scammers posted fake double money airdrop links using the image of the company's CEO to look authentic, It tricked users into sending over thousands of dollars worth of VET coins into the hackers wallet before the account was recovered.
The biggest issue with Vechain is only 100 node have strong influence on project growth and development, as there are only 101 masternodes running behind project that's means ordinary user only buy and hold and has no real power in DAO voting.

VeChain is the Blue-Collar Worker of blockchain. It shows up, does the job for major corporations, and remains legally compliant. However, it is not a get rich quick asset. It is a long-term play on the digitization of global logistics. If you are looking for 100x gains in a week, this isn't it. If you are looking for a MiCA-compliant, ESG-friendly infrastructure play that won't disappear in a bear market, VET is a top candidate.

I respect the way they're approaching growth and proven real world enterprise utility, But its enterprise first structure limits open ecosystem participation which can affect how clearly token value is reflected over time, even though overall risk remains relatively low.

The problem isn’t tech or vision, it’s community energy and ecosystem depth. They need better Web3-native community tools, stronger PR, and open grants to pull in builders. More innovation at the app layer wouldn’t hurt either as competition heats up.

no it didn't (go there yet) but I believe this team can actually do something because they are active in development, good at marketing, just need more community engagement and more quality PR, get community engaged use modern Web3 community social tools. open grants for builders! let this chain work and see how the ecosystem thrives

I respect how consistent they’ve been in sticking to their niche. That said, I feel like they could use a bit more innovation to keep up as the competition heats up.

Vechain focuses on enterprise RWA real-world Web3/tokenization solutions. Although $VET is sitting at ~10x above from 2020 prices, it may go higher than its current prices if RWA trend heats up again.
