World mobile network is trying to bring internet to places like Africa and places where internet coverage is weak and expensive it gives cheap internet service to these areas, user can set up small device called airnode or earth nodes which provide internet signal in that area and in return users earn WMTX token also tokens can be used to pay for network service and also can be staked means locked to secure network and earn more rewards.
On June 5, 2026 world mobile launched retail connectivity in north america which started in New York City, but token is extremely dangerous to interact the total supply is 2 billion and not even 1 billion total is in circulation also with ongoing token unlocking price is already down and heavily volatile more token unlocking can cause significant damage to price value.

World Mobile is far more interesting at the infrastructure level than its token price suggests, but it still has something to prove economically. The strongest evidence in its favour is that this is not merely a telecom-themed cryptocurrency. World Mobile currently reports 1.6M+ unique users and 600TB+ of network consumption over 24 hours. More importantly for the token, World Mobile has explicitly documented a revenue-linked buyback mechanism in which part of mobile service revenue is used to purchase WMTx from the open market before those tokens are used for settlement and network services. That is a thumbs up 👍 for the team with coming up with something clean as this.
However though there's a miscommunication regarding scale and transparency. We know the mechanism exists, but we don't have a sufficiently clear current figure showing exactly how much WMTx is being repurchased relative to the amount being emitted as operator/staking rewards. That is the crucial equation. If telecom revenue buys $1M of WMTx while rewards and other distributions put $2M worth of tokens back onto the market, that is saying then there's more firewood to the network but few towards token progress.
Conversely, if actual network revenue eventually produces buybacks materially larger than token emissions/selling, WMTx could have a much stronger economic foundation. The supply side also deserves caution: 2B maximum supply versus roughly 859M circulating means substantial supply remains outside current circulation. As for the token price, I will just say 'put more workings.'

The business is growing fast they have 3 million people using it daily, but the token is struggling. Even with new exchange listings this week, the price is falling because many early investors are selling and over 1 billion tokens are still waiting to be released. It's a real-world company with a crypto-world price problem; the network works, but the coin is currently being ignored by the broader market.
