This undermines the project’s decentralization narrative and creates a market structure where price discovery is limited. Despite ongoing development efforts too, there is little evidence of meaningful adoption or user growth, and the ecosystem lacks a breakout application to justify its valuation. Liquidity remains small relative to its age, and price performance reflects a prolonged decline in interest. The technology may still be relevant, but the gap between vision and actual usage continues to widen.

It also copied Bitcoin supply and fixed Supply at $26m 90% of supply already mined so only few ELA supply remains to be mined, it faced crash losing all value and over 80% down, low trading volume and liquidity cause volatile slippage. ELA is facing a declining momentum and investing is extremely risky.

Merging with BTC for security is elite, and the sheer volume of dev work happening here is impressive Too bad the frontend feels broken. The friction is unbearable and communication is s joke. I want to love it, but the UX is so bad it feels like they’re trying to make us rage quit.
