Iagon (IAG) Review: OG Score & Community Audit

 Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson  publicly cut ties with the project, accusing leadership of opposing key treasury proposals. When the most important figure in your home ecosystem publicly abandons you, the token pays the price. IAG is down almost 95% from its all-time high, and despite launching new initiatives like the RoyaltyNode RWA raise to secure enterprise capital, the open-market liquidity is severely depleted.
Technologically speaking, Iagon built an  impressive decentralized storage and compute marketplace. They launched their staking platform in 2025, instantly securing tens of petabytes of data, and rolled out tools meant to directly rival centralized giants like AWS. i will treat the tech as highly functional, but the token as a massive political and liquidity risk.

Lagon earns some credit from me because several parts of its token economy can actually be verified instead of taken on trust, the supply is permanently capped at 1 billion IAG, designated wallets are publicly traceable on Cardano and subscription revenue follows predefined rules 90% goes to storage providers and delegators, 7% to the treasury and 3% is used for IAG buybacks, those are measurable rules, not just promises.  
The part that matters more to me is what happens after the incentives have done their job, Lagon has allocated 20 million IAG for compute node rewards over a 15-year period, which gives the network plenty of time to grow, but incentive programs are only meant to bridge the gap, not become the foundation forever.                                 
  The question I keep asking is whether the network will eventually generate enough recurring subscription revenue that operators would still have a reason to stay if rewards became less important.
That's the point where infrastructure proves it has real commercial value instead of relying on token emissions, until i see stronger evidence of that transition, i think larger pools of capital are more likely to monitor Iagon than build meaningful long term positions.

The most important finding from this investigation is not that the token lacks technology; it is that the evidence currently does not demonstrate that the technology has reached economically significant utilization. The token also has better utility than many small cap infrastructure tokens because IAG is used as collateral and staking infrastructure, while 3% of subscription fees are earmarked for IAG buybacks.
The problem is the missing middle whom are customers → usage → revenue → token demand. I could not independently establish current storage consumption, paying customers or protocol revenue. At the same time, only 37.6% of supply is reported circulating, the top 10 addresses hold ~70.46%, and IAG remains roughly 95% below its $0.424 ATH. These two alone are enough to chase or scare off an investor away.
Therefore, I would prefer to plafe this as a proven winner. The technology thesis is more convincing than the adoption thesis. The token thesis becomes much stronger if it can demonstrate substantial paying storage/compute demand, publish transparent utilization and revenue figures, show measurable recurring buybacks, and demonstrate that concentrated wallets are treasury/protocol allocations rather than selling pressure after some liquidity solid entry. Conversely, the thesis fails if the network continues accumulating capacity without meaningful customers, if token concentration translates into persistent distribution pressure, or if the promised decentralized compute/storage economy remains largely dependent on centralized infrastructure. Then this will have a difficult time surviving st all 💔💔.

Iagon is a high IQ play for the DePIN sector. Its got government backed tech and legitimate privacy features that all businesses actually need. While the thin liquidity and token unlocks make the price action a bit frustrating, but then, the real world credibility is top tier.

Fireblocks hookup is the killer feature here, opening doors most DePIN projects can't touch. It's got that rare mix of real-world readiness and active devs who reply fast. Tokenomics drag it down with heavy supply, yet the compliance strength makes it stand out strong

Iagon's quietly stacking real DePIN wins, it Fireblocks integration just dropped institutional grade Cardano access via their nodes, plus 822 storage + 176 compute nodes live across 55 countries, with staking hitting nearly 99M IAG which is over 25% circulating. it's one of the more grounded plays in the space right now, especially after that Cloudflare outage spotlighted centralized weaknesses.

They've landed massive enterprise deals like Würth Group's logistics and HP's 3D printing, all built on a solid, compliant Cardano base. This DePIN project is serious and going after the big fish. however only about 37% of tokens are circulating right now. That means we have to watch out for those future token unlocks. If a big chunk floods the market, it could dump the price and hurt all the node operators earning yield.
