Project no longer building or developing as for years team has put complete silence, It's been 6 years and no update from social account it seems only community is keeping this token in market. It has built a social like platform called steemit on steem block chain, concept seems great of rewarding user obase of interaction with in steem ecosystem but rewards are relatively lower compared to other Social platform with same niche. Steem has loyal community but it's not a long term investment, As competition is rising and other platform offer better reward and more development.

The best developers left years ago, and the community is tiny compared to newer, more exciting social protocols. its outdated, If you like to look at the history of crypto, Steem is fascinating. Steem still has activity, but the real story is in the (Curation Trails) and bot driven voting, If you track the onchain data for 2026, you'll see that over 60% of daily rewards are captured by automated 'bid bots' and voting rings that boost each other's posts instantly, this means a real person joining today has almost zero chance of earning fairly without paying into these bot services. The biggest red flag is the Witness concentration where the top 20 nodes are effectively a closed loop, controlling the direction of the chain since the 2020 takeover, this lack of decentralization is why top developers moved to Hive, leaving Steem as a hollow shell, for a trader, the signal is clear, the volume is mostly internal recycling, not new money coming in.
