What bothers me most about Soil is that the token has taken a beating despite the RWA narrative being one of crypto's biggest themes. $SOIL went from around $3.97 to roughly $0.09, a collapse of more than 97%. At some point, you have to ask why the market isn't buying the story.
The bigger issue is that the underlying business and the token aren't necessarily the same thing. Soil can facilitate real-world lending and generate yield from corporate debt, but that doesn't automatically mean $SOIL captures that value.
Then there's the part DeFi investors can't easily verify: the borrowers themselves. Smart-contract audits don't tell you whether an off-chain company is financially healthy. If a borrower defaults, you're dealing with legal recovery, collateral enforcement and potentially long delays.
Liquidity is another problem. Trading volume is thin enough that meaningful selling can move $SOIL hard.
And honestly, the 97%+ drawdown combined with weak liquidity is the clearest warning sign. The technology and RWA positioning may be interesting, but the market has shown very little willingness to value the token accordingly.

Soil is a digital bridge where crypto investors lend out their stablecoins and Soil lends that money to real companies off chain, it means project is heavily integrated Real world assets, as it's a RWA project so it is built like an official fintech company, It follows strict legal rules to make sure lending to real businesses is completely legal.
Alongside Eth it runs on polygon chain means extremely cheap gas fees and transaction costs, but there is big risk as loan are given to physical companies off chain the profit and losses of these companies can't be tracked so if any of these companies goes bankrupt project and fails to pay loan back the Soil project will have to bear all damages which can also affect token price as core token also completely relies on success of Project's user base and success.
The token is extremely risky to be held as long term even after it recovered a bit from all time low crash but trading volume is reducing and only few wallet holding total supply shows there's no strong community behind the project Trading volume and number of traders.

SOIL has carved out a differentiated niche as the first native lending protocol on XRPL, backed by an institutional parent with real AUM and regulatory licenses. With XRPL now surpassing Solana in tokenized RWA value at $1.87B, SOIL is well positioned as the compliance-first yield layer within that ecosystem.   The catch is execution. The thesis depends on the XLS66 amendment, which requires 80% approval from XRPL's 34 validators despite a default Nay vote. If the amendment fails, much of SOIL's growth narrative stalls. Even if it passes, the token's $6.2M FDV isn't designed to capture protocol revenue directly.   History also offers a cautionary lesson. Maple Finance and Goldfinch pioneered institutional on-chain credit years earlier, yet both struggled to translate protocol success into sustained token value despite stronger capitalization. SOIL is building in the right market at the right time but today, the clearest beneficiaries are lenders, not token holders.

Soil may no longer have a dilution problem, around 70% of the supply is already in circulation, which means future unlocks are no longer the main variable driving risk, the more important issue is liquidity efficiency, narratives alone do not create durable demand what matters is whether new capital continues entering the market after the initial story has already been priced in.
Daily trading activity remains relatively small compared to the token's historical valuation and market depth appears thin enough that larger sell orders can still have a noticeable impact on price discovery, many investors focus on future supply the market may already be focused on something else entirely where the next wave of buyers comes from.
The token has already fallen more than 98% from its peak despite most of the circulating supply already being available to the market that suggests dilution was not the only reason for the decline, the market already knows the supply story, what it still does not know is how demand scales beyond the rwa narrative itself.
In markets with limited liquidity, participation can disappear faster than supply changes when new buyers slow down, price often adjusts long before fundamentals do, dilution can pressure price a lack of buyers can do the same thing for much longer, the key issue is not whether more tokens enter circulation, it is whether the project can generate enough demand to absorb existing supply at higher valuations, that is the part of the equation the market has not fully answered yet.

SOIL is a V-shape Recovery bet. While the price hit an all time low recently, the new XRPL pools and $1M inflows show fresh life. It is a high trust RWA play with real cash flow, thiugh the low liquidity remains a risk for short term flippers. https://www.binance.com/en/square/post/293267772556801 (The $1 Million Inflow Proof)

Something about Soil just feels serious. Like the founders actually manage real money offline and brought that discipline here. Not flashy, not begging for attention. That restraint is rare and kinda respectable. Yet the outside vibe is flat, small circle, muted talk, zero fireworks. It's the quiet kid in class who might be brilliant or might just stay quiet forever.
