To me, something about Aligned does not sit fully clean in the current market tone, there's a bit of real attention there you can feel pockets of activity, but the flow underneath does not look like it's being driven by steady conviction, a lot of it feels more coordinated than organic, like the hype is running a little too far ahead of the actual depth. The real structural risk here is the dependency trap Aligned is positioning itself as a critical verification layer, yet its entire relevance is tied to the survival and adoption of external ecosystems, when a project builds its core value on top of someone else's success before even having a TGE, it creates a fragile foundation where they are capturing hype without owning the utility. Large scale participants typically look for a more decoupled path to growth and clearer ownership dynamics, which still feel opaque here, it feels like a project where the story is struggling to justify its own long term structural independence. Aligned Layer has secured more than $30M through multiple funding rounds and a public sale, pushing its fully diluted valuation to roughly $300–400M following an airdrop announcement. Despite this, there is still no TGE. While the tokenomics were recently updated with vesting schedules, the team continues to pursue additional capital. I view this project as heavily overvalued, especially when comparable to functioning competitors trade at much lower valuations.
