Looking at the all time data, Immutable X basically went through a classic boom and cooldown cycle. It saw huge growth during the 2021–2022 NFT hype, with strong activity, lots of minting, and real usage, so it clearly proved the tech works and can scale. But once the NFT market cooled off, everything slowed down, activity dropped, volume fell and the token price took a big hit, down more than 90% from its peak. ImmutableX generates revenue mainly through NFT trading fees, along with integrations with games and overall marketplace activity on the network. As more users trade NFTs, interact with in game assets and developers build within its ecosystem, the platform captures value through these transactions, making its revenue closely tied to how active and engaged the gaming and NFT ecosystem is. As for me, I would say it’s useful for NFT users, but growth depends on the market.
