SONIC has solid technology and some smart token design ideas behind it, especially with its buy-and-lock system and market-making infrastructure. The main issue right now is supply pressure. Most of the total supply is still locked and will continue entering the market over time, which can weigh heavily on price growth. Even with good development progress, the project still needs to prove that real user activity and transaction volume can grow fast enough to absorb those future unlocks. Until then, it may be better to wait before treating it as a serious long-term portfolio position.
