Coin98 is an all-in-one crypto ecosystem with products like the Coin98 Wallet, SpaceGate cross-chain bridge, Super Wallet, exchange aggregator and DeFi gateway. Its biggest innovation was multi-chain interoperability back in 2021. Back then it was actually a huge narrative and Coin98 gained a lot of traction from being early but now the space is flooded with far better and more polished competitors that completely overshadow it. From my personal experience, the Coin98 Wallet is honestly terrible. The UI/UX feels outdated, messy and unnecessarily complicated. It’s nowhere near beginner-friendly and compared to newer wallet apps it feels like using an old beta product. Token-wise, almost the full supply is already circulating, so major dilution risk is mostly gone. But even with that, I still don’t really see meaningful upside potential. The ecosystem no longer feels innovative or competitive, user growth seems weak and the project gives more of a “surviving off old hype” vibe.

Every time Coin98 comes up, it gives me that mixed signal feeling, the core hurdle is structural the shift to Ninety Eight moved the token's revenue flow specifically cross-chain bridge and wallet swap fees directly into closed loop treasury reserves rather than open market buying, this leaves C98 with weak fee capture. The downside risk is highly likely over the next 12 months, if the Viction L1 network fails to attract new developers during this altcoin season, C98 stays stuck as an inactive asset, however the upside potential exists if a popular app launches on Viction during a major market expansion, C98 could capture massive network value. The product is fine, but the investment thesis is dead. Coin98 is a reputable team that built a completely real, highly functional application. They didn't exit-scam their users; they simply fully unlocked their token economy into a market that stopped caring about legacy wallet tokens. Use the wallet if you like its multi-chain layout, but do not buy the coin expecting a parabolic recovery. Without a massive structural redesign to the utility model that forces token burn or tightens the enormous circulating float, holding C98 is betting on a zombie asset.

Seeing $0 TVL and a GitHub that hasn't been touched since November 2025 tells me the lights are on but nobody is home. When development stops and the money leaves the protocol, the Super App becomes an empty shell. The 99% price drop and the lack of staking participation show that even the most loyal holders have likely moved on. $C98 has clearly entered a phase of Deep Stagnation.
