I really wanted to see SOON Network live up to the hype, but the DeFiLlama data is a brutal reality check. The Expertise is there with a $27M Jump Crypto backing, but the $20k DeFi TVL vs. a $53M Market Cap is a terminal red flag. It’s an extreme imbalance that shows the token is powered by pure speculation rather than network utility. With a 24h DEX volume of only $24, the network is currently a "Ghost Chain." While the Bridged TVL of $541k shows some interest, the lack of actual dApp usage proves that users aren't sticking around. Strong team, legit infrastructure, good exchange support. SOON has real things going for it. But infinite token supply means no matter how well this project does, new tokens keep entering the market. It's like filling a pool with a hole in the bottom you need to run really fast just to stay still.

They recently shut down their own Layer 3 network (SoonBase) and are now telling everyone they are an AI project. This is a huge risk because they are starting from scratch in a very crowded market. To make things worse, millions of dollars worth of tokens were just released into the market last month. The team is essentially betting the farm on AI to save the token. SOON feels like a pretty ambitious infra project trying to bring Solana style performance through an SVM based rollup system and plug it into a more modular multichain world. The idea itself is actually strong because everyone is chasing faster and cheaper execution layers right now and SOON is clearly aiming to sit in that wave rather than fight against it. The token setup and community focus look decent on paper and the developer oriented angle makes sense if they can actually get builders to ship real apps. But the bigger truth is that this space is extremely crowded and most of the advantage comes down to adoption rather than just architecture.. Tokenomics look fairly well structured with a strong community-first allocation and a relatively balanced split between ecosystem growth, airdrops, team and foundation, which is better than many typical infra projects. The utility through staking, governance and ecosystem incentives makes sense and the inflation rate is moderate rather than extreme. Based on DeFiLlama data and current on-chain activity, SOON’s TVL is still very low and the ecosystem looks early-stage with limited real usage. Solana Layer 2 sounds unique quoted from their whitepaper: "SOON is a high-performance SVM Rollup designed to realize the Super Adoption Stack. With a vision to achieve mass adoption of blockchain, which includes : decoupled SVM, Merklization, and Horizontal Scaling." still the question weather they can fight MEV type bots and spams is a concern but the bigges one is price of $SOON is dumping soon before and soon after.
