Zebec Network has real products, but the bigger concern is whether the adoption story matches the amount of marketing around it. Zebec regularly posts partnership and product announcements, yet there is limited independent evidence showing how many users, transactions, or dollars those partnerships actually generate. Even community members have questioned the constant announcements without corresponding proof of usage, particularly around long-promoted partnerships. The project's X account also shows engagement patterns that can make its reported reach worth scrutinizing rather than taking impressions at face value.
The tokenomics aren't the main problem here: roughly 97.95B of 100B ZBCN is already circulating, leaving limited unlock dilution. The real issue is value capture. Companies can use Zebec's payroll and payment infrastructure while settling through fiat or stablecoins, meaning product adoption does not automatically create demand for ZBCN. Its multi-chain architecture also adds bridge and infrastructure risk, while payroll brings significant KYC/AML and regulatory exposure. Until Zebec can show independently verifiable transaction volume, revenue and actual ZBCN usage, not just announcements, the investment case remains heavily dependent on narrative.

If you want to be convinced at first sight then truly this is your point of stay for it has all that too quickly seen, because the underlying business is no longer theoretical. The Q1 2026 numbers give us something tangible: $49M monthly payroll volume, 243 enterprise clients, 13,100 employees, 21,626 cards and more than 500K card transactions. 
The token itself has improved materially from the perspective of supply uncertainty. Zebec says the final scheduled unlock occurred in March 2026, meaning the major vesting overhang is now behind it. While also it has a more interesting value mechanism saying employers are supposed to pay Zebec product fees in ZBCN, while the project has implemented revenue linked buybacks. (That right there is a pretty smart move no doubt).
But I wouldn't call ZBCN a perfect token yet. The crucial weakness is that Zebec's impressive business volumes don't automatically equal ZBCN demand. $49M of payroll processed is not $49M of ZBCN purchased. We need stronger disclosure of actual ZBCN fee purchases, recurring buyback amounts and how much token demand is generated by enterprise activity. The next level of proof needed is not another partnership it is demonstrating that business growth consistently produces measurable ZBCN demand and supply reduction.

Zebec Network is in an interesting position right now, the market often treats the token as a direct reflection of business growth, but those two things do not always move together.                                      A company can use Zebec's payroll products, payment cards, or stablecoin rails without creating the same level of demand for the token itself, even if transaction volume grows, the token still relies on staking, rewards participation, and market interest to capture value from that growth,                                                  with the final unlocks already behind it, supply expansion is no longer the main variable, the focus now is whether buybacks ecosystem participation and network growth can create enough demand to offset periods when market attention fades.
A hidden detail is value capture, user growth, payroll volume and payment activity may look strong, but that does not automatically translate into stronger token demand, if most activity continues flowing through stablecoins and payment infrastructure, the network can grow much faster than the token itself,  most of the supply is already in circulation, removing a major dilution risk, that means future performance depends far more on execution, adoption, and the token's ability to capture value from ecosystem growth than on scarcity alone.

Looking at the B2B payments landscape, platforms like Request Network or modern L2 architectures handle payroll streaming effortlessly without requiring an entirely separate, hyper-diluted ecosystem. Zebec's entire investment thesis is bottlenecked by the staggering 97.9 billion tokens floating in active circulation. March 2026 marked the technical end of their venture unlocks, but the massive float left behind creates a permanent overhead resistance. For an infrastructure token to survive on product fees alone, it needs massive, global corporate adoption, which this protocol is nowhere near achieving. 📉

On paper, the tokenomics look well put together, with real utility tied to payroll, cards, fees, staking and a deflationary angle through buybacks and burns and the fact that the full supply is already unlocked by 2026 removes future dilution risk. The Team kept shipping through cycles, and Thier Partnerships are legit, they are not noisy. At the end their Tokenomics still needs discipline, but product is narrative.
