It feels like a straight-up supply trap. Tokens flood out nonstop while the team keeps a massive slice it just smothers any real chance of price action. This endless pressure drains all the excitement fast. Hard skip for me. 😤

MON is basically a usage-driven asset, its value depends on adoption and transaction volume, not any kind of protocol revenue distribution. The tokenomics rely on a burn-based model, where users pay fees and those fees are mostly burned instead of going to holders or stakers. Staking rewards come from around 2% inflation, so in reality you’re only making meaningful returns if network growth outpaces dilution. On the community side, trust has taken a hit. After years of farming, only about 3.3% of the total 100B supply was distributed initially, while a much larger share ( close to 47%) went to VCs and the team. That didn’t sit well, especially considering they already raised $244M, then still did a public round at a $2.5B valuation. The whole Monad card system also felt inconsistent. Early users could nominate others, and even though I got nominated by someone respected in CT @veH0rny, there was no transparency in approvals and I didn’t get in. Stuff like that just adds to the frustration. BTW Monad Card was a great marketing strategy..They could have done better. Overall, the execution hasn’t been great. The initial pump was probably the best exit liquidity for public sale participants, since then the token has mostly traded below sale price, which says a lot about market confidence.

Monad is a very high-performance blockchain built for speed and efficiency. But many venture investors hold tokens that unlock in about 8 months, which could pressure the price. Great tech, just watch the timing. https://tokenomist.ai/monad

Monad is building L1 blockchain that must work fast and faster. The building is real. But large amount of tokens have been given to insiders and VCs at THE while community always complaining about unfair distribution accross different platforms and a bad customer support, like the tokenomics wasn't obeyed by monad, this may lead to high risk for future investors. Large amount of tokens to VCs lead to high selling pressure in the future. But they're building something promising. 😊 Lastly Monad lack Community trust. To me this could be a red flag to me. DYOR
