Raydium is one of the core liquidity engines of the Solana ecosystem and has real infrastructure usage. However, the token itself is not equally strong as the protocol. The biggest issue is the emissions, treasury allocation, and team/ecosystem controlled supply create constant long-term dilution pressure. Checkout more here https://docs.raydium.io/raydium/protocol Even though buybacks exist, they do not fully neutralize emission pressure. Another concern is dependency risk if trading activity shifts to aggregators like Jupiter, direct usage of Raydium pools may decline over time.

They survived getting hacked for $4.4M when attackers stole admin keys most projects would've vanished but Raydium just... kept going? Vesting done, no more team dumps. Perps launched, tokenized stocks integration pulled $250M volume. The pseudonymous team (AlphaRay, XRay) still ships features regularly. But man, using it during high volatility is brutal. Platform lags, slippage destroys you, and it's basically where scam tokens go to launch. The permissionless model attracts garbage. If you're trading serious size or care about not getting rugged by some random pool, this isn't it. Infrastructure play for Solana degens only. 💀

But don't think it's an easy way to make money, The real danger isn't that the platform is fake it’s how people use it, Most folks get rekt because they approve sketchy tokens or don’t understand how DeFi actually works. If you take the time to learn the ropes you'll be fine Just don't go in blind.
