Grass (GRASS) Review: OG Score & Community Audit

I participated in the Grass airdrop, it was pretty decent all round, and it still remains one of the few major airdrop projects that successfully built a real working product after launch. The network still functions around decentralized bandwidth sharing and AI data collection infrastructure, the ecosystem continues operating in 2026. The biggest weakness i’d say though is that a large part of the early growth was driven by farming incentives and passive income hype rather than strong long-term user loyalty….and the network generating revenue does not automatically create strong demand for the token itself. Grass still struggles with long-term token utility, ongoing sell pressure from early farmers, weaker market excitement after the narrative cooled down.

This is indeed having a very good tech design no doubt and so far they're holding up for a DePin project very well. Though the structure is build on bandwidth to earn incentives and it seems team are confuse with no define target for season 2 target. That has started causing their community to throw question. For a project that needs to feeds on bandwidth community is everything. I think the faster they provide a clear target for the season 2 the better so they maintain the community they have and keep going. This may achieve something greater if worked on properly.

It’s a cool idea, especially with how it decentralizes data collection and even uses things like zero-knowledge proofs to verify it. The tokenomics still feel pretty incentive-driven. Most of the demand comes from airdrops and rewards rather than strong real utility or revenue sharing. Many users running nodes still in speculative second airdrop while foundation captures most of the AI data revenue resulting zero for community and its token holders.

Grass has successfully established itself as a critical infrastructure layer for decentralized AI but while its recent recovery and move toward decentralized validators are highly bullish the persistent linear supply unlocks and heavy dependence on airdrop hunters make it a high volatility asset that requires careful timing around its vesting schedules.

Grass is like getting paid to let robots use your extra internet. Millions of people are doing it, and big companies do it too. Even though the prize rules are bit messy right now, its one of the biggest and most real project out there. I like it.

Grass is one of my favorite token that I'm watching closely. It has got real traction (millions of nodes, revenue streams, VC backing), differentiating it from vaporware DePINs. Price is down, due to heavy unlocks/dilution and broader market dips. Volatility's high in this niche, and adoption hinges on converting user growth to sustained demand.
